Retropolitan has moved "uptown!" We now have three wonderful floors for your browsing pleasure. We are located at 8227 Main Street, just two doors north of Old Columbia Pike next to what was once the town movie theater (now Precious Gifts) and across the street from the Historic Fire House Museum.
There is free 2-hour parking along Main Street. There is both free and metered parking lots in the Historic District: lots A & F are entirely free; lots B , C & E are all fully metered and lot D is metered in the front of the lot & free at the rear of the lot.
Meters are in force from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM
from Towson
Take 695 west to Frederick road, take Frederick west for approx. 5 miles, you enter Ellicott City going over the Patapsco River and under the railroad bridge. Continue up Main Street past two lights. There is a public parking lot just past Retropolitan on your left and 2-hour free parking across the street from Retropolitan in front of the Historic Fire House Museum.
from Washington
Take 95 north to 100 west to 29 north, stay in right lane and take route 40 east, at first light make a right onto Rogers Avenue, after the county office complex take a right onto Ellicott Mills Drive, continue until you come to Main Street Historic Ellicott City, turn left at the light for down town.
from Glen Burnie
